About the
Ark Christian School
Ark Christian School was founded in 1997.
From 1997 till 2019 the school followed the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum.
This system proved to be excellent as our students excelled.
During 2019 the school implemented the CAPS curriculum which has opened many new doors for our students to excel.
Today we provide 1 Grade 00 class and 2 Grade R classes, 3 grade 1 classes of 22 students in a class that provides individual attention.
The school has grown to nearly 400 students and provide classes up to grade 7.
The school provides remedial assistance and pride itself in a Special needs class with 20 students with individual needs.
History
The Ark Christian School was founded in 1997.
The school is registered as an Independent
school with the Department of Education.
The aim is to teach education based on a Biblical view.
The school is situated in Ermelo on a prime spot only 3km out of town right next to the N11
with a peaceful environment. The school has a long
tradition of excellence.
The name Ark is from the Bible and refer to the Ark of Covenant that reflect the covenant that God made with man.
We strive to lay a Biblical foundation of the
Word of God in our students and to cultivate the ministry of excellence in our
students.
