Ms Mariaan Hill started to assist in 2007 at the Mia Centre in Ermelo with the goal to help children with special needs and so God developed her talent to help and bring forth the best in children with disabilities.

And so her path crossed with the Ark Christian School in 2014. Now she has a very capable team assisting her.

We follow a learning to read program with these students. In some cases it takes longer to read than other.  All students work at their one pace according to their abilities.

There is great progress in Math’s and English.

We have students with Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, Epilepsy, Brain damage, and many other learning disabilities.

It’s our goal to bring out the best in these students to help them realize they are enough.
